this week we looked a collage, it was interesting to see how artist had translated the ideas of more traditional collage artist into a digital medium. i really liked Jonathon Baker's work i thought it was really interesting that he set out to use a website to bring his work to a broader audience. as a class we used photo shop, i found this really difficult to understand and know i need to develop my skills with practice i could become more efficient with the program. i find understanding what the different tools do difficult to remember and i don't understand how to use layers. the collage attached i have created at at a later class as i have learnt how to use different programs and skills within those to be able to use the tools in a productive way. i really enjoyed making a collage and i have included a more detailed description of this in week 7 blog entry
